Help me hand off a task clearly so it doesn't bounce back to me.

The task: [WHAT NEEDS DOING]
Who's taking it on: [NEW HIRE / VA / TEAMMATE / CONTRACTOR]
What "done right" looks like: [THE OUTCOME AND ANY STANDARDS]
The deadline: [WHEN]
What they'll need: [ACCESS, FILES, LOGINS, CONTACTS]
How much freedom they have: [FOLLOW EXACTLY / USE JUDGMENT]

Write a handoff that includes:
1. The goal in one sentence — what and why
2. The steps or key points, in order, without over-explaining
3. What they need before starting, and where to get it
4. What to do if they get stuck or hit something I didn't cover
5. How and when to check in, and how I'll know it's done

Clear and respectful, not micromanaging. Flag anything I left vague that would trip someone up. For anything sensitive like passwords, tell me to share it securely, not in plain text.

Example scenario

A busy owner could use this to hand off invoicing to a new assistant with everything they need in one message.
