Help me figure out where AI could realistically help in my work — and where it shouldn't.

What I do, or the process I'm looking at: [YOUR ROLE OR THE WORKFLOW]
The tasks that eat my time or repeat a lot: [LIST THEM — MESSY IS FINE]
What I'm hoping to get out of this: [SAVE TIME / FEWER ERRORS / KEEP UP WITH VOLUME / LESS BORING WORK]
My comfort with AI tools: [NEW TO IT / SOME EXPERIENCE / CONFIDENT]
Anything sensitive involved: [CUSTOMER DATA, MONEY, LEGAL, HEALTH, SAFETY — OR "NONE OF THAT"]

Go through it with me:
1. Sort my tasks into three buckets — good fit for AI now, maybe with care, and keep human — with a one-line reason for each
2. For the good-fit tasks, what AI would actually do (draft, summarize, sort, brainstorm, check) and what I'd still need to review
3. Where a simpler non-AI fix — a template, a checklist, a small automation, or just dropping the task — would beat reaching for AI
4. The tasks to keep firmly human: anything where a wrong answer costs real money, trust, privacy, safety, or a relationship — and why
5. One low-risk place to start, and how I'd know within a week or two whether it's actually helping
6. What to be careful about: reviewing AI output before using it, not pasting sensitive data, and where mistakes would hurt most

Be honest, not hype — AI isn't the right tool for everything, and "don't automate this" is a valid answer. Don't promise specific time savings; frame them as possible and tell me how to check. Base this on what I told you; if you need more to judge a task, ask. Keep it plain enough that I could act on it this week without being technical.

Example scenario

A bookkeeper drowning in repetitive email could use this to see which parts AI could safely draft and which need to stay fully human.
